Clare Rewcastle Brown

Clare Rewcastle Brown, a British activist, author, blogger, and advocate journalist, was born on June 20, 1959, in the former British Crown Colony of Sarawak, which is now a part of Malaysia. She is the founder and operator of the Sarawak Report blog and Radio Free Sarawak, a pirate radio station, both of which have been vocal in their criticism of the Barisan Nasional-led state and federal governments of Sarawak and Malaysia.
