Charles William Hittinger is an American actor, born on February 12, 1983, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He began his acting career at the age of 21, in 2004. His television debut was in 2005, on the crime series Cold Case.
He went on to appear in two different incarnations of CSI, including CSI: Miami in 2005 and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in 2008. He also appeared in an episode of the crime drama Without a Trace in 2007.
In addition to his work on CSI and Without a Trace, Charles has appeared in several major television series, including Numb3rs, ER, 90210, and Grey's Anatomy. He landed a role for a single season on Jonas in 2009.
The following year, in 2010, Charles joined the cast of Pretty Little Liars for two seasons. In 2012, he landed a role in the comedic sequel to the American Pie series, American Reunion.
In 2013, Charles appeared in Syfy's Sharknado as the son of the movie's hero, Ian Ziering. Five years later, in 2018, Charles reprised the role in Syfy's sixth sequel, The Last Sharknado: It's About Time.
