Christopher Martini's journey in the film industry began as a child actor in an HBO feature film, acting alongside John Lithgow. His passion for cinema was ignited by the works of Bergman, Fellini, Kurosawa, and Welles.
Chris's early experience in filmmaking started in high school, where he directed and shot his own Hi8 movies, editing them on VHS. After high school, he landed an apprenticeship as an editor on a movie of the week for ABC, working with 35mm film.
Chris was later accepted into NYU's Tisch School of the Arts Film School on scholarship and became a teacher's assistant in the editing department. He graduated in 1996 and worked as a camera assistant, sound man, and editor for over 15 years, becoming a member of the Editor's Guild.
Throughout his career, Chris continued to pursue his directing ambitions. His short film, The Stone Child, won numerous awards and was broadcast on PBS. Chris's first feature film, Trooper, received critical acclaim and was distributed worldwide.
Chris has also directed the feature films What The Night Can Do and What The Night Can Do, starring Stuart Margolin and JoBeth Williams. He has also worked on a feature documentary about patriot artist and activist Scott LoBaido and a documentary about Donald J. Trump.
In addition to his filmmaking career, Chris is a dual citizen and the owner of Triple Martini Productions, Inc. He is married to Liz and they have two children, Aidan and Lillian, and a pitbull named Stella. Chris is excited about his future projects and the power of cinema to change lives.
