Christine Harnos, a talented individual, was born on November 16, 1968, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Her journey in the entertainment industry began in 1986 when she signed with Elite Models and worked in both New York and Japan. This experience led to her being cast as the female lead in Disney's film, The Rescue, marking the start of her acting career.
Christine's subsequent film roles included Denial, alongside Robin Wright and Jason Patric, The Cool and the Crazy, opposite Jared Leto, and Universal's Dazed and Confused. Her impressive acting resume also includes a significant stint on the award-winning TV series, ER, where she played the character 'Jennifer Greene' from 1994 to 2003.
After her hiatus from acting, Christine pursued a degree in child development at Mills College, graduating in 2003. She then co-founded the circus outreach organization, Circus Remedy, and has served as its Executive Director since 2006. Christine's dedication to helping others continued when she served as Executive Director of the Emma Center from 2008 to 2009, providing holistic healing services to female abuse survivors.
In recent years, Christine has returned to the entertainment industry, this time as a producer. Her notable projects include the documentary, Here is Something Beautiful, which explores the life and work of American writer Richard Brautigan, and the feature film, Halo of Stars, starring a talented ensemble cast, including Pal Sverre Hagen, Holliday Grainger, and Lilly Collins. The latter is set for release in 2019.
