Biography

Christina was born just outside Toronto, the youngest of three girls. She carried a double major in theater and dance at the prestigious ArtsYork at Unionville High School, where she laid the groundwork for her future in the performing arts.

Christina further honed her craft at the Ryerson Theatre School of Toronto, an esteemed institution that has produced many notable alumni, including Eric McCormack and David James Elliott. Her extensive training has served her well in her numerous film and television credits.

In addition to her screen work, Christina has appeared in numerous national theater productions, showcasing her versatility and range. Her repertoire includes classical productions of William Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night" and Jim Cartwright's raw and gritty "Road".

Christina's television credits are equally impressive. She completed the last of 13 episodes as "astrobiologist Jen Crane" in the FTVS/ABC series "Defying Gravity" (2009),a one-hour drama that follows a team of astronauts on a six-year mission in outer space.

After completing "Defying Gravity", Christina guest-starred as "Zoey Kruger", a cop accused of killing her family, in the 4th season of Showtime's "Dexter" (2006). She then joined the cast of the hit series "24" (2001) as "Secret Service agent Molly O'Connor", and also appeared in "The Mentalist" (2008) and "The Stepson" (2010),alongside Adam Beach.

Christina's impressive resume also includes a guest-starring role as "Marine Gunnery Sergeant Georgia Wooten" in the NCIS (2003) episode "Freedom" (2011). Prior to "Defying Gravity", she starred as "Vicki Nelson", an ex-cop turned private investigator specializing in solving supernatural crimes, in 22 episodes of the Lifetime series "Blood Ties" (2007).

In addition to her numerous television credits, Christina has also had a hand in creating original content. She co-created and developed an original script for Sony Television and Barry Sonnenfeld, and worked on the pilot for "Nikki and Nora" (2004),which became the most-watched never-aired pilot on YouTube.
