Christopher Vance is a talented actor, best known for his lead role as Frank Martin in Transporter: The Series. He has also made a name for himself in other notable roles, including Whistler in Prison Break and Jack Gallagher in Mental.
Born into a loving Irish family and raised in the UK, Vance began his career in football, signing youth contracts with West Bromwich Albion and Bristol Rovers. However, he eventually turned to acting, graduating from the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne with an honors degree in Civil Engineering.
Vance's early acting career was marked by several roles in productions of Romeo & Juliet and other plays, as well as appearances on the London Fringe and in small Reparatory Theatres. He also launched his own theatre company, writing, directing, and producing plays.
Vance's big break came when he landed his first real gig at the Royal National Theatre in a touring version of the play "Closer." He went on to appear in several other productions, including "Speer" by David Edgar, and made his British television debut in the show "Kavanagh QC."
In the early 2000s, Vance moved to Australia and performed in several television series, including "Stingers," "Blue Heelers," and "The Secret Life of Us." He then moved to the U.S. and booked a regular role in the hit TV series "Prison Break," playing James Whistler.
Vance has also appeared in several other TV shows, including "Mental," "Fairly Legal," "Burn Notice," "Dexter," "Rizzoli and Isles," "Supergirl," "Hawaii 5-O," and "Bosch." In addition to his acting career, Vance has also written a series of novels bound in historical fiction and fairy-tale.
