However, Chris's teenage years took a dramatic turn when, in 0199, he ran away from home and joined a gang, embarking on a path of trouble and strife. He spent many years oscillating between periods of incarceration, where he acquired his extensive tattoo collection, and brief periods of freedom.
In 2002, Chris's life took an unexpected turn when he encountered representatives from Suspect Entertainment, a fledgling entertainment company producing edgy content for movies and music videos. Initially, Chris was skeptical, still immersed in the "street life," but after witnessing a few videos, he became intrigued by the prospect of a legitimate career.
With a background in tattooing as his only formal work experience, Chris took a chance and made his acting debut in the Korean television drama "All In," playing the role of Fernando, a gang fighter.
