Biography

Toronto native Chris Potter is a seasoned veteran of the film and television industry, boasting an impressive resume that spans over three decades.

Throughout his illustrious career, Chris has appeared in a staggering 450 episodes of various television programs, including eight television series, ten feature films, and over twenty television movies. His impressive work ethic has earned him the reputation of being one of the hardest working individuals in the business.

Chris is currently starring in the internationally acclaimed CBC show Heartland, a testament to his enduring talent and dedication to his craft.

Prior to his success on Heartland, Chris starred in the made-for-television feature The Good Witch and its six sequels. The films' immense popularity led to Hallmark adapting it into a television series.

Over the years, Chris has accumulated an impressive list of credits, garnering recognition for his outstanding work. He won the prestigious award for Best Actor in a Featured Drama at the New York Independent Film & Video Festival for his chilling performance in the thriller Rocket's Red Glare. Additionally, he received a Gemini nomination for Best Performance in a Supporting Role for his portrayal of "Tom Harsburgh" in the provocative television movie Sex Traffic.

Chris has also had the distinction of being a Series Regular on several projects, including Zoe Busiek: Wild Card; Queer As Folk; Silk Stalkings; and Kung Fu: The Legend Continues, alongside the late David Carradine.

In addition to his television work, Chris has made guest appearances on a range of popular shows, including Law & Order: SVU; One Tree Hill; Andromeda; The Outer Limits; Lonesome Dove; Counterstrike; Street Legal; and Will & Grace.

On the big screen, Chris has appeared in the feature films Spymate and The Pacifier, an action thriller starring Vin Diesel. He was also directed by Richard Benjamin in The Shrink Is In, a romantic comedy starring Courtney Cox and David Arquette.

When Chris is not busy with his demanding career, he can be found spending quality time with his lovely wife and four children in Ontario.
