Chris Paine is a renowned documentary filmmaker, with a notable body of work that showcases his expertise in storytelling and visual narrative. His directorial features include "Revenge of the Electric Car" (2011),which premiered on Independent Lens, and "Who Killed the Electric Car?" (2006),which had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival and was later released by Sony Pictures Classics.
As an executive producer, Chris has been involved in several independent documentaries, including "Bikes vs Cars" (2015),which premiered at SxSW, as well as "Charge", "Faster", and "William Gibson: No Maps for These Territories".
Chris's earlier directing and producing credits include MTV/Initial Film's "Buzz", "Mailman" (which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 1995),"Trillion Cubic Feet", "Zoo Life with Jack Hanna", and "Return to the Philippines". He has also assisted writer/director Michael Tolkin on the feature films "The Player" and "The New Age".
