Chris Miller is a renowned American film director, storyboard artist, and voice actor, widely recognized for his impressive work with the esteemed DreamWorks Animation.
Miller's career in the film industry began with a stint working alongside the legendary Ralph Bakshi on the 1992 film Cool World, a collaboration that undoubtedly honed his skills and prepared him for the opportunities that lay ahead.
As his career progressed, Miller joined the DreamWorks team, initially taking on the role of storyboard artist for the films Antz (1998) and Shrek (2001). His exceptional talent and dedication earned him a promotion to head of story on Shrek 2 (2004),a position that ultimately paved the way for him to assume the director's chair on two subsequent installments in the beloved Shrek franchise, namely Shrek the Third (2007) and Puss in Boots (2011).
In addition to his work on the Shrek franchise, Miller is also well-known for his portrayal of Kowalski in the Madagascar film series, with the exception of The Penguins of Madagascar (2008),where his voice was replaced by Jeff Bennett. Furthermore, Miller has lent his voice to numerous characters in other DreamWorks productions, solidifying his status as a talented and versatile voice actor.
