Christopher Lee Kattan, a talented individual, was born in Sherman Oaks, California, to a model mother, Hajni Joslyn, and an actor father, Kip King. This auspicious beginning would shape his future in the entertainment industry.
As Chris grew up, his family relocated to Mount Baldy, California, when he was just five years old. They resided in this picturesque location until he reached the age of 15, when they made another significant move to Bainbridge Island, Washington, for his high school education.
After completing his high school studies, Chris made the move to the Los Angeles area to join the esteemed improv/sketch comedy group, The Groundlings. His impressive skills and dedication soon led to him becoming a featured player on Saturday Night Live in March 1996. A mere six months later, he was promoted to a full-fledged cast member, a position he held until May 2003.
