Person Biography:
Chris Jaymes is a multi-talented individual with a career spanning multiple decades in the entertainment industry. He has worked as an actor, writer, director, and producer, with a best-selling graphic novel and a debut feature film that received numerous awards and nominations.
As an actor, Jaymes began his career at the age of 17 with a guest starring role in the hit show Wings, followed by a role in the CBS movie-of-the-week Murder In New Hampshire: The Pamela Wojas Smart Story. He later worked on numerous hit shows including LOST and Party of Five, collaborating with directors Ivan Reitman and actors Robin Williams, Billy Crystal, Martin Short, and William Shatner.
As a director, Jaymes' debut feature film In Memory of My Father, starring Judy Greer and Jeremy Sisto, won 20 international awards and nominations, including Best Picture at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival and CineVegas International Film Festival. He has since directed numerous feature films and TV shows, including Long Story Short, Making A Scene, The Cottage, and Mile High, for networks such as FOX, Netflix, and the Travel Channel.
Jaymes is also a published author, with a best-selling graphic novel Sons of Chaos and a non-fiction book Boxing Day, which won the 2014 Michael Debakey Journalism Award. He is a piano player and has toured with numerous bands, including Bootstraps, and has attended Berklee College of Music.
In addition to his entertainment career, Jaymes is passionate about ocean and marine mammal conservation efforts, and has developed the Ocean Aquarium Concept as a solution for the future of our oceans and the animals living within.
