Chris Gardner is a multifaceted Dallas, Texas-based individual who has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry as an actor, screenwriter, and comedian.
His foray into feature filmmaking began with a supporting role in the movie Cornman: American Vegetablehero, directed by Barak Epstein, alongside long-time collaborator Blair Rowan.
Gardner and Rowan spent a decade crafting their tongue-in-cheek horror comedy, Blood On the Highway, in which Gardner also co-starred. This labor of love earned them numerous accolades, including the best screenplay award from the Brazilian Fantaspoa Fantastic Film Festival and the best fantastic feature award from the Kimera Film Festival. Most recently, the film was acquired by Universal's offshoot, E1.
Since then, Chris has worked on a diverse range of projects, from stand-up comedy to co-creating the unapologetically satirical sketch comedy group, the Cooperation Corporation. He has also acted in numerous shorts and features, including St. Nick, directed by David Lowery, the Sundance selection My Mom Smokes Weed, and the South by Southwest selection Wuss, directed by Clay Liford.
Most recently, Chris completed the short film Narcissism & Me, which he wrote, starred in, and produced.
