Chris Childs, a talented musician, was born in the charming village of Writtle, nestled in the heart of Essex. His musical journey began in November 1996, when he joined the renowned band Thunder, replacing the accomplished Mikael Höglund. Prior to his tenure with Thunder, Chris had the privilege of collaborating with an array of esteemed artists, including the legendary Paul Young, the iconic Andy Summers, the esteemed Colin Blunstone, the energetic Then Jerico, the melodic Waterfront, the captivating Never The Bride, and the successful Go West.
In addition to his work with Thunder, Chris is also an integral part of the musical landscape as a bassist with the illustrious Russ Ballard and The Don Airey Band. He regularly tours with the esteemed Luke Morley and Peter Shoulder's current band, The Union, as well as with the renowned Tyketto and the awe-inspiring Eagles tribute act, The Ultimate Eagles.
