Chloë Johanna Wigmore is a multifaceted English/Afrikaans actress who has had the privilege of captivating audiences across various mediums, including stage, television, and film.
As a young child, Chloë was enamored with the idea of being an Egyptologist, inspired by the swashbuckling adventures of Harrison Ford in the iconic "Indiana Jones" Trilogy. However, as she grew older, she realized that not every day would be filled with thrilling escapades, and thus, she decided to channel her sense of adventure into a career as a performer.
Chloë's educational journey began at East 15 in London, where she enrolled in the Foundation Course in 2008. She then secured a place at The Birmingham School School of Acting in 2009 and went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in acting in 2012.
Throughout her career, Chloë has had the opportunity to tread the boards in various productions, including Shakespearean classics such as Hamlet at The Park Theatre and Romeo and Juliet at Leicester Square theatre. She has also been a part of numerous Secret Cinema productions, which have allowed her to explore her creative range.
In addition to her stage work, Chloë has appeared in several television shows, including the popular period drama Call the Midwife, as well as Triumph of the Skies and Downtown Abbey, which aired in 2013.
Currently, Chloë is generating buzz for her upcoming projects, including the horror feature Kill Your Lover, set to release in 2024, and the featurette Don't Choke, which premiered in 2023 and earned her four Best Actress awards and numerous nominations.
