Charlotte Kirk was born in Kent, England, where her passion for acting began at the tender age of 11, after being captivated by the timeless classic Gone with the Wind (1939). This serendipitous encounter sparked a lifelong fascination with both the stage and screen, ultimately propelling her towards a career in the performing arts.
Charlotte's journey in theatre commenced with performances in Greek tragedies such as 'Agamemnon' and 'Arturo Ui', as well as plays like 'A Christmas Carol', 'Oliver Twist', and 'Hairspray'. Her artistic development was further refined through her attendance at the prestigious Italia Conti School of Acting in London, where she honed her skills alongside esteemed instructors.
In the early stages of her career, Charlotte landed a starring role in the sci-fi thriller 'Vice' (Lionsgate 2016),opposite Bruce Willis and Thomas Jane. Since then, she has completed seven feature films, including the female lead in the film-noir comedy 'No Panic, With a Hint of Hysteria' (2016),opposite Stephen Baldwin, and the female lead in the psychological drama 'The Depths' (2017),which won awards at seven film festivals.
Charlotte's versatility as an actress was also showcased in her appearances in 'How To Be Single' (Warner Bros 2017) and 'Ocean's 8' (Dir. Gary Ross, Warner Bros. 2018),opposite Sandra Bullock.
In 2018, Charlotte co-wrote the movie 'The Reckoning' (2020) with Neil Marshall, which was shot in the summer of 2019 in Budapest, Hungary. The film was released theatrically worldwide in 2020, and Charlotte received multiple awards for her dramatic performance.
Most recently, Charlotte completed the action horror movie 'The Lair' (2022),also co-written and directed by Neil Marshall, which is set to be released in 2021.
Currently, Charlotte resides between London and Los Angeles, where she continues to pursue her passion for acting and writing.
