Charles Andrew Gardner, a talented Actor, Director, and Producer, was born and raised on Chicago's south side, where he developed a passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of the importance of representation. His extensive training on the stage has instilled in him a sense of care and empathy, which he brings to every project he undertakes.
Throughout his career, Mr. Gardner has made a significant impact in the film and television industry, with on-camera credits that include feature films such as Olympia: An Instructional Manual for Being an Adult, The Defiled, and Holding On. He has also appeared in numerous national commercials for prominent brands such as Liberty Mutual, Ford, McDonald's, Pepsi Co., and AT&T.
In addition to his work in front of the camera, Mr. Gardner has had a successful career in Chicago theatre, with notable credits including John Conroy's My Kind of Town, which earned him a BTAA nomination for Best Actor. Chris Jones of the Chicago Tribune named him as one of 2012's "Hot New Faces to Watch" for his performance in this production.
Other notable Chicago theatre credits include Objects in the Mirror, Stop.Reset.(us),and Buzzer(us) at Goodman Theatre; How Long Will I Cry at Steppenwolf Theatre Company; Macbeth and Othello at The Suitcase Shakespeare Company; The Great Fire(us) at Lookingglass Theatre Company; and Spectacle Lunatique at Redmoon Theater.
Mr. Gardner is also a dedicated advocate for arts education and is a member of the Chicago Local SAG-AFTRA board. He has taught acting with Gallery 37 and Timeline's Living History program, inspiring the next generation of artists and ensuring that the arts remain a vital part of our community.
