Charlene Geisler is a multifaceted German-American actress and producer, born to Annette Geisler, a travel agent, and Dean Geisler, an aircraft mechanic, in Newport Beach.
Her mother's German heritage granted Charlene dual citizenship of the United States and the European Union, and she speaks German fluently. Charlene's interest in acting began at the tender age of six, inspired by her father's part-time work as a background actor on the HBO show Deadwood.
As she grew older, Charlene started out in background roles, but after witnessing other children being given speaking parts, she expressed her desire for more substantial roles to her mother. With her mother's constant support, Charlene began to take her acting career seriously, eventually signing with her first manager at the age of eight.
Charlene's mother was instrumental in her early success, driving her to auditions and helping her memorize lines. Growing up, Charlene was fascinated by space and the universe, a curiosity nurtured by her father and grandparents, who even gifted her a high-powered telescope for Christmas.
As an adult, Charlene has worked on a variety of TV and film projects, including the STARZ! series Counterpart, CBS series NCIS, and the Warner Brothers film The Hangover. She has also produced and recurred in the homage to 1970s sitcoms, Child of the 70s, alongside notable actors such as Michael Vacarro, Susan Olsen, Ted Lange, Geri Jewell, and Kat Kramer.
In addition to her acting work, Charlene is also a producer, with several screenplays and short films in development. She currently resides in Los Angeles with her partner Jacob and their two cats, Roxy and Ginger, and spends her free time reading fantasy series, playing piano, writing, and socializing with friends.
