Biography

Charisma Carpenter's television career began with a guest appearance on Baywatch in 1989, followed by a call from legendary producer Aaron Spelling, which led to her casting on the prime time soap opera Malibu Shores in 1996.

However, her breakthrough role came when she was cast as Cordelia Chase on Buffy the Vampire Slayer in 1997, a character she portrayed for three seasons before transitioning to the spin-off series Angel in 1999, where she continued for four more seasons.

Throughout her career, Carpenter has appeared in numerous television shows, including Charmed, Veronica Mars, Greek, and Pandora, as well as recurring roles on The Lying Game and Surviving Evil.

In addition to her television work, Carpenter has also appeared in several films, including The Expendables and its sequel, as well as numerous made-for-television movies for Lifetime, Syfy, and other networks.

Off-screen, Carpenter is the founder of MyCon, a platform that connects socially isolated fans with their favorite actors, and works closely with the Thirst Project, an international water charity, and The Ronan Thompson Foundation, which researches pediatric cancer.
