Biography

Channing Godfrey Peoples, a talented individual, hailed from Fort Worth, Texas, and later pursued a passion for theater at Baylor University. Subsequently, she took her academic endeavors to the next level by enrolling in the prestigious School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

During the creative process of crafting her debut feature-length film, Peoples had the distinguished opportunity to serve as a screenwriting fellow in Austin, Texas. Under the guidance of renowned filmmaker Charles Burnett, she honed her craft and refined her artistic vision.
