Biography

Chandler was born and raised in the vibrant city of Houston, Texas, where he spent his formative years surrounded by the bustling energy of the city. As the middle child of three, he was part of a loving family that consisted of an older brother and a younger sister. Despite his passion for the film industry, Chandler has always maintained a strong connection to his hometown, choosing to reside in Houston full-time and attend public school.

Chandler's impressive film career began with a notable role as a young version of Seann William Scott in the 2009 comedy film "Balls Out: Gary the Tennis Coach". This early success led to a string of notable roles, including a young version of Brad Pitt in the critically acclaimed "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" (2008),opposite the esteemed Cate Blanchett. He has since worked alongside a diverse range of talented actors, including Forest Whitaker and Jude Law in the sci-fi thriller "Repo Men" (2010),and Jessica Biel and Ray Liotta in the drama "Powder Blue" (2009).

As his career progressed, Chandler transitioned from supporting actor to leading man, starring opposite Nicolas Cage and Rose Byrne in the 2009 thriller "Knowing". He has since taken on leading roles in a variety of films, including "After.Life" (2009) opposite Liam Neeson and Christina Ricci, "A Bag of Hammers" (2011) opposite Jason Ritter and Rebecca Hall, and "The Host" (2013) opposite Saoirse Ronan, William Hurt, and Diane Kruger. Upcoming projects include "Angels Sing" (2013) opposite Harry Connick, Jr. and Connie Britton, and "Black Eyed Dog" (2014) opposite Hilarie Burton and Mackenzie Foy.

In addition to his leading roles, Chandler has had the opportunity to "carry" or "co-carry" several films. One notable example is the family drama "Standing Up" (2013),in which he plays Howie, a young boy who finds the strength to overcome bullying with the help of his new friend Grace. For the role of Zach Bonner in "Little Red Wagon" (2012),Chandler had to alter his hair color to accurately portray the extraordinary child philanthropist.

Chandler has also made appearances on television, earning a Young Artist Award for his role on "Criminal Minds" (2005) and playing Young Peter on "Fringe" (2008). When he's not in front of the camera, Chandler enjoys spending time with his friends, playing video games, running, and playing the guitar.
