Chandan Anand is a talented actor who has made a name for himself in the Indian entertainment industry. Born and raised in Mumbai, India, he has been passionate about acting since a young age. In fact, he believes that acting starts from the moment one is born, and he was no exception. After completing his high school education in 1997, Chandan turned his passion into a profession, starting his journey in the world of theater.
He began his acting career in New Delhi, working with two renowned theater companies, 'Asmita' and 'Act One'. Under the guidance of directors Arvind Gaur and N.K. Sharma, Chandan honed his skills by playing prominent roles in several well-known Hindi plays, including 'Court Martial', 'Tara', 'Final Solutions', 'Romeo Juliet', and 'Warren Hastings ka Saand'.
In 2004, Chandan made the move to Mumbai, where he soon made his film debut in 'Kaafila' alongside the legendary actor Sunny Deol. He went on to secure meaty roles in films like 'Aloo Chaat', 'Budget Trip', and 'Le Le Meri Jaan'.
In addition to his work in films, Chandan has also acted in several popular television shows, including 'Bhabhi', 'Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam', 'Hatim', and 'Dharamkshetra', for leading television channels in India.
Furthermore, Chandan has appeared in over 200 television commercials for prominent brands such as Suzuki, Future Generali, Prefiti, Volkswagen, Dettol, Pepsi, Coke, Mountain Dew, Electrolux, WeChat, Idbi Wealth Insurance, Nationwide, and MRF, among others.
Chandan's breakthrough film in international cinema is 'Parched', directed by Leena A. Yadav, which is currently making its rounds at international film festivals around the world.
