Cedric Sundstrom, a filmmaker of Swedish descent, was born in South Africa, where his creative journey began at the tender age of 13. Alongside his friends from the neighborhood, he started producing short films on 8mm, laying the foundation for his future endeavors.
After completing his college education, Cedric ventured into the world of theatre, honing his skills as both an actor and stage manager. This experience served as a valuable stepping stone, paving the way for his transition into the film industry.
As his expertise grew, Cedric landed a role as an assistant director on international productions filmed in South Africa. This exposure allowed him to work on a global scale, broadening his perspectives and refining his craft.
Throughout his career, Cedric has had the opportunity to work in various countries, including England, America, and Italy. Despite his international travels, he currently resides in Johannesburg, South Africa, where he continues to be an integral part of the local film community.
Interestingly, Cedric's brother, Neal Sundstrom, is also a director, and the two siblings have collaborated on numerous projects. Together, they form a dynamic duo, working for the esteemed South African production company, Moviworld.
