Cedric Cirotteau, a multi-talented individual, was born in 1980 in Villeneuve Saint Georges, France, to an orthopedic surgeon father and a ballet dancer mother. He was the youngest child in the family, and his early life was marked by frequent moves, including a stint in Saudi Arabia with his parents, where he studied at the American International School of Jeddah.
As he grew older, Cedric's family settled in Paris, and he attended the Ecole Active Bilingue, an international school in the city. He then pursued higher education, studying Physics and Chemistry at University Paris XII.
Cedric's passion for martial arts began at the age of 16, and he has since trained in Aikido, Judo, and Jujitsu, earning black belts in all three disciplines. This skillset caught the attention of actor and fencer Juan Jimenez, who encouraged Cedric to explore a career in stunts and acting.
Cedric took stunts and fencing lessons with Patrice Camboni, a sword-master from the Conservatoire de Paris, and studied acting at Studio Pygmalion, Montrouge, in 2009 and 2010. He later received full training with renowned acting coach Patricia Sterlin in 2013.
As a performer, Cedric has appeared in numerous commercials in France and Morocco, as well as feature and TV films in India, the USA, England, and France. He has been based in London since 2014 and is represented by Victoria Steven Management. His recent projects include The King by David Michôd and Bloodhound by Peter Stylianou.
Beyond his acting career, Cedric is also a producer, and he founded Arara Azul Films (Blue Parrot Films in Brazilian Portuguese) to pursue more personal projects. In collaboration with actress Aline Nolasco, he produced several shorts in France before relocating to London. In 2017, he co-produced with Xavier Guignard two multi-award-winning short films, The Conductor and Little Thief, which are available on VOD platforms.
Cedric is currently developing two feature films with Xavier's film company Essay Pictures. He also released the comedy crime series The Heist in December 2018, created by Chris Burkitt, in association with Wolfpack Productions and Outlier Films.
