Born into a family of eight siblings, the eldest child of Bill and Wanita Gourdier, she had the privilege of growing up in the vibrant city of Kingston, Ontario.
As she navigated her early years, she was blessed with the opportunity to call both Toronto and Los Angeles home, cultivating a unique blend of East Coast charm and West Coast flair.
Before venturing into the world of filmmaking, she honed her skills as an assistant director, laying the groundwork for her future success.
In 2003, she took the leap and produced and adapted her first film, Some Things That Stay, a milestone achievement in her burgeoning career.
Today, she is dedicating her time to the craft of writing, simultaneously working on a book and two screenplays, a testament to her dedication and passion for storytelling.
