Catherine Andre is a multifaceted, biracial director who crafts captivating, darkly comedic love stories that often revolve around the lives of theatrical individuals, eccentric creatives, and academics who possess a limited understanding of the world.

As a recent graduate of the prestigious American Film Institute's directing fellowship program, Catherine has also had the privilege of being an alumnus of Princeton University, the Fulbright Scholar Program, Interlochen Arts Academy, FAMU International, and the Drama League.

Prior to her time at AFI, Catherine honed her skills as a theater director in New York City before embarking on a five-year journey to direct plays and movies across Europe, where she collaborated with renowned auteur directors in Romania, France, and Prague to refine her unique directing style.
