Born in Chicago, Illinois, to a Polish father and a British mother, Siemaszko comes from a family of actors, with his sister, Nina Siemaszko, also being a talented actress.

Siemaszko's early career began with his debut film role in the 1983 Rob Lowe-starring film "Class", which also featured notable actors such as John Cusack, Andrew McCarthy, and Alan Ruck. He continued to appear in several notable films throughout the 1980s, including "Silence of the Heart" alongside Charlie Sheen and Chad Lowe, and "Secret Admirer" with C. Thomas Howell, followed by a memorable role in "Back to the Future" alongside Michael J. Fox.
