Carter Glade, a multifaceted American-German SAG-AFTRA actor, has led a life of global exploration. Born in New Hampshire, he embarked on an international journey at the tender age of four, relocating to München, Germany, and subsequently Leipzig, where he spent his formative years. As a result, Carter is fluent in both English and German.
Throughout his childhood, Carter's family underwent various relocations, with his mother and older brother settling in Charlotte, while his father and younger step-brother remained in Leipzig. This peripatetic lifestyle allowed Carter to develop a unique perspective, as he grew up in München, immersed in a rich cultural environment.
A poly athlete, Carter has pursued numerous sports, including soccer, skateboarding, snowboarding, hockey, surfing, football, baseball, golf, and tennis, showcasing his exceptional athleticism and versatility. His artistic inclinations were nurtured through local theatre performances and the influence of his older brother, Charles Glade, the lead singer of the Portland-based band Shadowgraphs.
Carter's professional career has been marked by notable roles in prominent productions. He has starred in Blumhouse/Universal's picture "Freaky," opposite Vince Vaughn and Kathryn Newton, and played the role of Darrow in CBS's "NCIS Hawaii," alongside LL Cool J and Vanessa Lachey.
To hone his craft, Carter has pursued extensive training at esteemed institutions, including the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in West Hollywood, Barry Papick Acting Studio, Lesly Kahn & Co., and as a stand-up comic, performing at various comedy clubs throughout Los Angeles.
