Norwegian veteran actor, renowned for his impressive career spanning multiple platforms, including stage, television, and cinema. His journey began in 1941 with a debut performance on the revue stage at Oslo's Søilen Teater.
He went on to become an esteemed employee of the legendary Norwegian revue theatre, Chat Noir, from 1947 to 1959. Despite having a great flair for drama, he truly made the field of comedy his specialty. Throughout his illustrious career, he delivered several iconic character performances, with his stage appearance as Doolittle in "Pygmalion" remaining one of his most beloved and enduring roles.
Beyond his stage work, he also made significant contributions to Norwegian cinema, with his portrayal of Kjell in the 13 "Olsenbanden"-movies being fondly remembered by many. Furthermore, he ventured into children's entertainment, producing and directing two beloved movies: "Bjørnepatruljen" (1956) and "På tokt med Terna" (1958).
