Biography

Carolyn Zeller, professionally known as Caro, is a talented Puerto Rican bilingual film and theatre actor with a versatile range of performances under her belt. Her television debut took place on "The Morning Show" where she played the role of Jane, a New York Times Reporter, in Episode 5. Caro's three-year residency at The Oregon Shakespeare Festival was marked by notable performances in "The Three Musketeers" and "The Copper Children". She also showcased her skills in the O! Digital stage presentation of "The Cymbeline Project".

Throughout her career, Caro has brought a wide range of characters to life in both new and classic plays. Her repertoire includes works by Shakespeare, Spanish playwrights, and Pulitzer Prize-winning plays like "Water by the Spoonful". Some of her notable roles include "The Three Musketeers", "Romeo and Juliet", "Mother Road", "La Comedia of Errors", "Elliot, a Soldier's Fugue", "Fefu and her Friends", "Scar Tissue", and "Paloma".

Caro's impressive touring credits include a 2023 national tour with The Acting Company in "The Three Musketeers" and "Romeo and Juliet", as well as a 2016 performance in the Toyota Symphonies for Youth "Debussy's: La Mer" at The Disney Concert Hall alongside the L.A. Philharmonic. Her feature film debut was in 2016 with "Bruising for Besos". Caro has also appeared in the national tours of "New Faces" and "Latinos Shaping a Nation", as well as the webisode series "Dr. Reasons" Episode 3 "Telemundo".

In addition to her television and film work, Caro has appeared in several national commercials. She holds an MFA in Acting from the University of Southern California, where she was part of the inaugural class of 2009. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Caro's bilingual abilities have allowed her to seamlessly transition between English and Spanish-speaking roles.
