Person Biography:
I began my journey in the film industry by directing short films, primarily for personal enjoyment. However, as these projects gained recognition and accolades at festivals worldwide, I decided to dedicate myself fully to feature-length films. My first feature, the indie comedy "Sans Dessein," which I produced and directed, went on to win the coveted Audience Award for "Best Quebecois" film at the prestigious Fantasia International Film Festival.
This resounding success solidified my passion for filmmaking, and I threw myself into my next project, "Radius," a sci-fi thriller that garnered widespread acclaim and is now distributed globally. I am currently awaiting financing for my upcoming sci-fi film, "Aperture," while continuing to work as a director for companies such as Incendo and TVA, earning nominations and awards from the DGC and CSA.
Regardless of the film's genre, I bring my unique vision to every project, from start to finish. I am always fully invested, giving 100% to both the film and my team. I have a deep understanding of the technical aspects of filmmaking, and I appreciate the art of framing, unique camera angles, and movement.
I also take great pleasure in communicating my vision to actors, encouraging them to experiment and push their characters beyond what is written on the page. This approach has earned me a reputation for being a collaborative and innovative director. When I step onto a film set, it feels like second nature; I know exactly where I'm headed, and I strive for excellence. Above all, I love what I do.
