Caroline's early life was marked by her humble beginnings on the diminutive island of La Reunion, a tiny speck on the vast expanse of the South Indian Ocean. It was during her formative years, at the tender age of 12, that she first discovered her passion for climbing, courtesy of her school's climbing program. Little did she know at the time, this chance encounter would set her on a decade-long journey that would see her become utterly consumed by the competitive climbing world.
For the next 10 years, Caroline dedicated herself to the Lead World Cup Circuit, pouring her heart and soul into her training, traveling the globe, and honing her skills in indoor climbing facilities. Her unwavering focus and dedication paid off, as she ultimately achieved her dream of success in the competitive climbing arena. However, it was during this period that she began to feel an insatiable hunger for something more, a desire to challenge herself in the great outdoors.
And so, Caroline redirected her boundless energy and motivation towards outdoor climbing, embracing the thrill and adventure that came with it. She discovered a new lease on life, as she lovingly referred to her outdoor climbing exploits as her "second life" as a climber. With her newfound passion, she now relishes the opportunity to push herself to new heights, taking on Trad, Sport, and Multi-pitch climbs with an unbridled enthusiasm that is simply infectious.
