Carlos Guerrero's Early Life and Influences

Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Carlos Guerrero was the second of six children to Daisy and Cuban Actor/Poet Jorge Raul Guerrero. Growing up amidst the vibrant atmosphere of the entertainment industry, Carlos naturally found comfort in the spotlight.

Early Career and Challenges

After a significant disappointment on a shady film project, Carlos put his acting talent on hold and attempted a life without the stage. However, a false alarm angiography on July 4th, 2003, and a message from God persuaded him to return to his passion for acting.

Breakthrough and Versatility

Since his comeback, Carlos has taken on a wide range of dramatic and comedic roles on theatre, television, films, and commercials, leveraging his fluency in both English and Spanish to work in both the American and Hispanic markets. He is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA.

Notable Roles and Accolades

Carlos has produced and starred in the film "Promises," a self-written and self-produced project, which earned numerous accolades, including three best actor awards in festivals across the U.S. He underwent an eight-month transformation for this role.

Carlos has recently appeared in feature films such as "Bad Boys for Life" alongside Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, "The Leisure Seeker" opposite Donald Sutherland, "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul" as Luis, and "Critical Thinking" directed by John Leguizamo. Personal Life and Legacy

Carlos's father and best friend, Jorge Raul Guerrero, instilled in him the importance of doing what you love to be happy in life. Carlos is now passing this wisdom on to his four children, including his son Carlos Guerrero Jr., who has inherited his love for acting and has already worked on several projects with his father, creating the third generation of professional "Guerrero" actors.
