Carlo Corazon's early life was marked by a love for the arts and sports. Growing up in Fairfield County, Connecticut, he would put on plays starring his younger siblings and charge his parents to attend. This early entrepreneurial spirit hinted at the complexities of Carlo's personality, torn between artistic values and monetary values.
As a teenager, Carlo filmed his younger siblings' football games and edited and scored highlight reels with his mom. He was already developing his technical skills and attention to detail. In junior high school, he was in charge of stage lighting for plays while starring in sports. In high school, he lettered and starred in both Varsity football and baseball, and took a class on "stagecraft" to learn the art of stage design and work.
Despite his athletic and creative talents, Carlo's life took a darker turn as a teenager. He delved into the world of crime and became a "thug," a lifestyle that took a toll on his health and relationships. His marriage to his first wife, Laurie, ended in divorce after three years.
In the early 1980s, Carlo became a father, and this life-changing event led him to re-evaluate his priorities. He started playing football again and found success on the field, but a knee injury ultimately ended his athletic career.
Carlo turned to acting, co-starring in a production of Sam Shepard's "True West" and landing his first film role in "Beyonder." He continued to work in film and television, taking classes at the Theatre Row acting studio in NYC and competing in a modeling pageant.
In the 1990s, Carlo co-produced, wrote, directed, and starred in a movie for television, which aired on Cox Communications cable channels. He also met his business partner, photographer Dean McKeever, and together they created a female swimsuit calendar called "The Supercalendar."
In the late 1990s, Carlo met his second wife, Mariana, and they currently reside in Santa Clarita, Los Angeles county, with their Yorkie, Anush. They spend their free time playing golf, vacationing in Argentina, and visiting Carlo's mom and son.
Although Carlo still has an acting bug, he is currently pursuing an executive career, holding the position of Vice President at the National Notification Network (3nonline.com). He has also received an honorary MBA from Almeda University for his contributions in communications and technology.
