C. V. Sridhar, a renowned Indian screenwriter and film director, was born on July 22, 1933. Throughout his illustrious career, he directed nearly sixty films across various languages, including Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu.
Born in the quaint village of Chitthamur, situated near Madurantakam in the state of Tamil Nadu, Sridhar's creative inclinations began to take shape during his formative years. His academic journey commenced at St. Joseph's Higher Secondary School, where he discovered his passion for writing and staging plays, a talent that he nurtured from as early as the Seventh Standard.
