Biography

Born in Montreal, David's life took a significant turn when he was transplanted to the Maritimes, and he has since established himself in Toronto. With over twenty-five years of experience, he has maintained a strong connection with Theatre New Brunswick, where he first began his career.

David's television career is marked by his iconic portrayal of the morally dubious Chuck Tchobanian on the long-running CBC series "Street Legal" (1986),earning him four Gemini Award nominations. In addition to his television work, he has also performed with esteemed theatre companies such as the Soulpepper Theatre Company in Toronto, the Stratford Festival Company, and the National Arts Centre Company, as well as regional theatres across Canada.

David's film and television credits include notable roles in productions such as "Soul Food" (2000) (Showtime),"The Safety of Objects" (2001) (Killer Films),"Mysterious Island" (1995) (Global),"Thanks of a Grateful Nation" (1998),"Aldrich Ames: Traitor Within" (1998) (Showtime),and "Hidden Dimensions, The" (1997) (IMAX).

In addition to his professional pursuits, David holds a strong academic foundation, having graduated from Stanstead College, the University of New Brunswick, and the Vancouver Playhouse Acting School. When not working, David enjoys fly-fishing and is notoriously difficult to find.
