Bud Robertson is a multifaceted writer-producer who has spent the last two decades honing his skills in the film industry. With a degree in film production from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA),Bud has established himself as a jack-of-all-trades, with a diverse range of expertise and a passion for storytelling.
As the producer and president of Mystic Pictures, a company he co-founded with his wife, Bud is dedicated to creating feature films and educational projects that inspire and uplift audiences. Prior to launching Mystic Pictures, Bud spent seven years as a producer at GOAL Productions, where he was responsible for producing nearly 50 behind-the-scenes documentaries and DVD bonus features.
In addition to his work at GOAL, Bud was also instrumental in the creation of Shadowland Films, a feature division of GOAL Productions that produced the ghost thriller "Spectres" and developed "Til Lies Do Us Part" and "The Love of Her Life" as premiere movies for Lifetime Television. Throughout his career, Bud has worked on a wide range of projects, including industrial films for corporate clients such as the Tournament of Roses, Boeing, and the American Humane Association.
As a freelancer, Bud has worked as a screenwriter, first assistant director, and production coordinator, and has also worked in distribution, serving as an international sales representative, contract servicing manager, and production accountant. With his extensive experience in the production chain, from script to screen, Bud is a versatile and accomplished professional in the film industry.
Outside of his work, Bud is a devoted husband and father of two daughters, Sara and Jenny, and is grateful to have his best friend and wife, Beth Conwell, by his side.
