Biography

Bryan is a multifaceted filmmaker and producer with a diverse range of credits to his name. He has worked in various cities around the world, including Vancouver, Toronto, South Korea, and New York. His extensive filmography includes notable projects such as Riceboy Sleeps, Ali and the Ratu Queens, and Daughter, which have been showcased on prominent platforms like Crave, CBC Films, Netflix, CBC Gem, and Amazon Prime.

As a co-founder of A Lasting Dose Productions, Bryan has been involved in various creative endeavors, including the adaptation of Patrick Lane's award-winning poetry collection, Just Living. This critically acclaimed film premiered at prestigious festivals such as Cannes, VIFF, and the Bronx International Film Festival, among others.

Throughout his career, Bryan has demonstrated a DIY approach to tackling challenging projects, often bootstrapping and raising funding for his ventures. His films have premiered at numerous prominent festivals, including TIFF, Busan Film Festival, Marrakech International Film Festival, Calgary International Film Festival, and FIN. Furthermore, he was a finalist at the Whistler Film Festival Power Pitch for his feature project, The Gate.

Recently, Bryan produced Anthony Shim's sophomore feature film, Riceboy Sleeps, under his company A Lasting Dose Productions, alongside Lonesome Heroes Productions and Kind Stranger Productions. This project premiered at the TIFF Platform, solidifying Bryan's reputation as a talented and versatile producer.
