Bruce Blauer, a country boy from Montana, spent five years serving his country as a special forces Naval AirCrewman/ Rescue Swimmer, before leaving his mark on the Hollywood scene. He made his way to Los Angeles, driven by a passion for acting.
His breakthrough came when he became a finalist on the Oxygen Network series, "Mr. Romance", produced by none other than Gene Simmons, the legendary KISS Front Man. Simmons praised Blauer, not only for his looks, but also for his exceptional talent, stating that he has the potential to reach the very top.
Often likened to a young Viggo Mortensen, Blauer, a UCLA Theater, Film, and Television alum, and classically trained Shakespearean actor, has been working tirelessly to make his mark in the industry. He has starred as the series regular lead on "California Heaven", produced by Stewdiomedia, which is now syndicated in Japan.
Playing the complex character of James Corrigan, Blauer has been praised as the "Heart and Soul" of the series. The New York Times, Soap Net press, describes the experience of watching "California Heaven" as being "like falling down the rabbit hole in 'Alice in Wonderland'".
Blauer has also made appearances on major networks, including CBS, ABC, and NBC, and has co-starred on CBS' "Close To Home". He has also shared the screen with notable actors, such as Bruce Campbell, in USA Networks "Burn Notice".
In his free time, Blauer resides in Tampa, Florida, where he lives out his beach life dream, riding his motorcycle, playing guitar, painting, paddle boarding, and enjoying the ocean views.
