Brian Vermeire is a proud graduate of the Sanford Meisner 2-year acting program, where he honed his skills in the Meisner Technique. During his studies, he also learned the art of improv and sketch-comedy at the renowned Groundlings Theatre in Los Angeles, under the guidance of esteemed comedic actors such as Mindy Sterling and Tim Bagley.
Following his formal training, Brian was invited to join the award-winning Sanford Meisner Theatre Company in North Hollywood, where he has performed in numerous plays that have garnered rave reviews from publications like LA Weekly, LA Times, and Back Stage West/Drama Logue.
As a respected stand-up comedian, Brian is known for his sharp wit and "late night-style" talk show host appeal. He frequently performs at major comedy clubs such as The Comedy Store, Caroline's, and The IceHouse, often lampooning current events with his uniquely twisted and skewed punchlines.
Brian has extensive experience within the Entertainment Industry, having worked as a writer, producer, and actor for various networks and production companies, including FOX, The Disney Channel, The Family Channel, WireBreak Entertainment, and Vin DiBona Productions. He graduated cum laude from Emerson College with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism.
In addition to his work as an actor and producer, Brian is passionate about screenwriting and has attended Robert McKee's intensive Story Structure Seminar. The seminar, led by the renowned screenwriting lecturer, has left Brian with a deeper understanding of the importance of storytelling and the need for a unique approach.
Brian has co-written four unique scripts and a sit-com pilot, and his next project is producing a romantic-comedy entitled REARended. Outside of performing, Brian is the CEO of Holdon Log, the Entertainment Industry's leading provider of organizational logbooks and Webware for performers.
As a seminar leader or guest speaker, Brian has traveled to numerous respected performing organizations, including SAG Conservatory, SAG Foundation, The Actors Center, National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, VOICE 2010, and The LA Femme International Film Festival, among others.
