Brian Lynch, a native of New Jersey, made his mark in the film industry with his debut feature film, Big Helium Dog, which he wrote and directed in 1999. Although it didn't receive widespread distribution, the film garnered immense critical acclaim through its showcases at various film festivals. This innovative work is comprised of a series of sketches, loosely tied together by a narrative thread, reminiscent of the 1977 classic, The Kentucky Fried Movie.
Following the success of Big Helium Dog, Lynch went on to work on numerous projects. He was commissioned to pen a Muppet Movie for the Jim Henson Company, although it ultimately fell through. Throughout his career, Lynch has written many scripts that are currently in various stages of production. Moreover, he is currently developing a brand-new television program, The Paranormals, for FOX Television.
Lynch has also made appearances in notable films, such as Kevin Smith's Chasing Amy (1997) and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001). Despite the glamour and prestige of working with Hollywood studios and prominent television networks, Lynch's true passion remains a comic strip he created during his college days, Angry Naked Pat.
This character, who delights in ridiculing celebrities, is depicted as a completely nude individual from head to toe. Pat initially went online in mid-2001 and experienced rapid growth, leading to the creation of a series of online cartoons, which will soon be released on DVD. Moreover, an Angry Naked Pat Movie is currently in the early stages of development, with the animation and direction handled by the talented Bob Cesca, founder of CampChaos.com and a renowned figure in the animation industry.
John Balfe, a renowned figure in the animation industry, has been involved in the development of Angry Naked Pat.
