Brian Durkin's impressive acting career has spanned over 15 years, with more than 45 film and television projects to his name. Starting with his debut in 2004, he has worked alongside some of the biggest names in the industry, including Kevin Costner, Woody Harrelson, Kenneth Branagh, Kathy Bates, Denzel Washington, Clint Eastwood, Robert Redford, Kevin Kline, Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson, and Bill Paxton.
Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, Brian was raised in Georgia and Florida, and went on to earn a degree in building construction science from the University of Florida. He also holds an MBA with a focus in Real Estate from Georgia State University.
Before pursuing his acting career, Brian moved to Los Angeles in 2001, where he enrolled in a Basic Scene Study course at Howard Fine Studio. His talent quickly caught the attention of Howard Fine, who put him in his Advanced Scene Study Course.
Brian's first project was playing Perry Adair in "Bobby Jones - Stroke of Genius" alongside Jim Caviezel. He has since appeared in a wide range of productions, including "Stranger Things", "The Walking Dead", "Brockmire", "Footloose", "Anchorman 2", "Killing Reagan", and the upcoming remake of "Superfly" and Netflix's "Highwaymen".
In his personal life, Brian is married to Mary Catherine Fortner and has two children, Evelyn Wiley, age seven, and Samuel Nelson, age five. He currently resides in Sandy Springs, Georgia, and is represented by the People Store Agency.
