As a budding actor, Brett began his journey in the world of local and regional theatre in 1998. He eventually transitioned to television and film, making his debut in commercials and movies in the year 2001. Throughout his career, Brett has been fortunate enough to land several notable roles, including that of the lovable, bargain-conscious stepfather in the heartwarming film "Once I Was a Beehive". He has also brought to life the character of Mark Larsen, a former kidnapping victim, in the critically acclaimed movie "The Saratov Approach".
Brett's personal life has been marked by a beautiful marriage to production designer Amelia Kuhlmann, which took place in 2006. The couple went on to welcome a lovely daughter together. Unfortunately, their union came to an end with a divorce in 2017.
