Biography

Dalton Castle, a renowned American professional wrestler, has made a lasting impact in the wrestling world under various personas. Beginning his career in 2008 with Empire State Wrestling in upstate New York, Castle quickly established himself as a formidable competitor.

In 2012, he teamed up with Will Calrissian to win the ESW Tag Team Titles as part of the Peacock Experience, showcasing his versatility and ability to adapt to different partnerships. Throughout his career, Castle has competed for various promotions, including Absolute Intense Wrestling in Ohio, C*4 Wrestling in Ontario, Canada, NWA New York in Rochester, and International Wrestling Cartel in western Pennsylvania, where he held the prestigious IWC World Heavyweight Title.

One of the most memorable moments in Castle's career occurred at Wrestling Is Intense's September 15, 2013 show, when the reunited GEKIDO interfered in the Darkness Crabtree-Jervis Cottonbelly main event, effectively "killing off" Crabtree. This dramatic turn of events marked a significant shift in Castle's character development.

Fast forward to May 2, 2014, when CHIKARA released a series of four videos titled "Rough Waters" on its YouTube channel. The videos revealed a shocking twist: Crabtree was, in fact, Castle's "uncle," and Castle had inherited a substantial amount of wealth from him. This newfound fortune allowed Castle to reinvent himself as "Smooth Sailin'" Ashley Remington, a wealthy yachtsman with a penchant for luxury and a kind heart.

As part of this new character, Castle would often gift his opponents fruit baskets after his matches, embodying the spirit of a gentleman. Despite his transition to Ashley Remington, Castle continues to compete as Dalton Castle for various promotions, including Ring of Honor, New Japan Pro Wrestling, Preston City Wrestling in England, and several others, solidifying his status as a versatile and accomplished wrestler.
