Brett Flynn, a native of Duncan, Oklahoma, made his way to Tulsa at a tender age of two, where his family settled. His father, a petroleum engineer, played a significant role in shaping Brett's career trajectory, as he pursued a career in the oil and gas industry, working in various corporate offices and oil fields across South Louisiana, Texas, California, and Oklahoma.
As the domestic oil industry slowed down in the early 1990s, Brett explored alternative career paths, dabbling in real estate and consulting. However, a lifelong fascination with movies and television prompted him to reevaluate his priorities. Brett confessed to experiencing a midlife crisis, despite not being middle-aged yet, which led him to make a drastic career change – becoming an actor.
Following a trip to Hollywood, Brett gained valuable insights into the film industry and returned to Oklahoma, focusing on his local market. He took acting classes, specialized workshops, and even participated in community theater to hone his skills. Gradually, Brett built a solid foundation of credits.
As Brett joined various talent agencies, both local and regional, he began landing gigs in commercials, industrial training films, and independent films. He even had the opportunity to act alongside renowned Hollywood actors in several movies.
In the winter of 2003, Brett returned to Los Angeles during pilot season, networking with local casting agencies. This led to appearances on popular TV series shows such as The West Wing, Crossing Jordan, and Mr. Sterling.
In addition to acting, Brett decided to pursue his passion for filmmaking and established his own production company, Golden Wing Films. Shortly after, he collaborated with Russian director Peter Zhmutski of PZ Production.
