Biography

Brendan Meyer is a multi-talented actor who has made a name for himself in both the theatre and film/TV industries. Not only has he accumulated a vast array of acting credits around the world, but he has also ventured into writing and directing, with several award-winning short films under his belt and a few feature-length projects in development.

With a deep passion for live theatre, film, and TV, Brendan is a highly respected figure within the acting community. He has had the privilege of performing in three seasons with the esteemed Freewill Shakespeare Festival in Canada, and his theatre credits include a diverse range of productions, such as Macbeth, Much Ado About Nothing, Titus Andronicus, Comedy of Errors, and Richard III with the Freewill Players, as well as Beneath The Ice with Fringe Theatre Adventures.

As the co-founder and former co-artistic director of Celsius Youth Theatre, Brendan has had the opportunity to direct numerous projects, including Fourteen and The Tempest, and act in productions such as The Haunting of Hathaway House, The Tempest, Twelfth Night, and An Unnatural Turn. His love for Shakespeare is evident, as he has written many of his own adaptations of the Bard's works.

When not on set or behind the scenes, Brendan can be found indulging in his love of theatre, often traveling to major cities such as New York, London, and Stratford-Upon-Avon to catch the latest productions and musicals. His extensive library of plays and books on the industry is a testament to his dedication to his craft.

In his free time, Brendan enjoys watching classic films, citing Humphrey Bogart, Leonardo DiCaprio, and the works of Alfred Hitchcock as some of his favorites. He is also deeply committed to giving back, with strong ties to One! International, an organization that runs schools for disadvantaged youth in India.

Brendan currently resides in Los Angeles but spends a significant amount of time in New York City, Vancouver, Canada, and London, England, where he holds citizenship.
