Bree Michael Warner is a talented actress, best known for her portrayal of Marilyn Raymer in the Nickelodeon series iCarly. Her interest in performing was cultivated from an early age, thanks to the inspiration of her parents who both performed on stage. Her mother, a musical theater performer, and her father, a singer-songwriter, encouraged her to pursue her passion for the arts.
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Warner ventured west to pursue her training at the University of Southern California, where she earned dual degrees from the School of Dramatic Arts and the School of Cinema-Television. After completing her education, she became a long-time resident of Los Angeles, before recently relocating to New York.
Warner has been acting for over a decade and has had the opportunity to work alongside a talented group of actors, including Stephen Dorff, James Woods, and Stephen Lang. Her latest project, Officer Down, is a feature film in which she plays the role of Brogan, Dorff's forensic partner. Warner's character provides the smoking gun that helps solve the crime and proves that smart women can be sexy.
In addition to her work in film, Warner has also had a successful career in television. She was written into a role by Alan Ball on the HBO series Six Feet Under, long before the show was even pitched. Her performances on the show earned her a reputation for her chameleon-like qualities and her ability to give notable performances in both television and film.
Warner has also had success on the stage, earning acclaim for her leading performance in the Off-Broadway production of Pulitzer Prize nominee Lee Blessing's Two Rooms. Critics have praised her honesty and sincerity, saying she brings a powerful performance to the role.
Warner is represented by the bi-coastal management team at The J Arts Group. She is set to star in three feature films in 2013, including Officer Down, Humdinger, and Truth About Layla.
