Growing up, Brandon was surrounded by a family of high-achievers, including his younger brother Sheldon, an editor extraordinaire in the entertainment industry with Don Shal Productions and co-founder of Fever Five Films Ltd., and his older brother Justin, an accomplished engineer. This environment of excellence propelled Brandon to explore a wide range of interests at Listowel District Secondary School, from A/V and chess to school musicals and student government.
Brandon's academic pursuits led him to the University of Waterloo, where he delved into the fields of history and classical studies.
