Brandee Steger is a multifaceted individual with a rich background in the entertainment industry. Born in Upland, California, she initially pursued her passion for acting, performing alongside her husband and producing partner, Michael Steger, in a seventh-grade production of Pyramis and Thisbe.
As fate would have it, both Brandee and Michael attended Cal Poly Pomona, where they later co-produced and directed Brandee Built on Crazee, a one-woman show that ran for eight weeks to sold-out audiences at the Stella Adler Theatre in Hollywood. Their collaborative efforts have also resulted in the production and co-direction of The Wrights, a short film starring Ted Danson, which won best acting at the Culver City film festival, and Not So Union, a comedy web series starring Bayne Gibby.
In addition to her work in film and television, Brandee has a background in figure skating, having shared the ice with renowned skaters like Michelle Kwan, Surya Bonaly, and Sasha Cohen. However, she soon realized that her Olympic aspirations were not meant to be, and instead turned her focus to stage performing. Throughout her career, she has worked with acclaimed directors such as Howard Storm and Tony nominee Wilson Milam, both in the United States and London.
Brandee's television and film credits include starring roles in God is an Astronaut, a movie based on a book selected by Oprah's book list, as well as guest appearances on popular shows like 911, Grey's Anatomy, American Auto, The Babysitters Club, American Crime Story: The Impeachment of Bill Clinton, and Young Sheldon. She is also set to recur on the Young Sheldon spin-off series Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage.
Throughout her journey, Brandee has had the privilege of training with renowned acting teachers, including Warner Loughlin and Oscar winner Martin Landau. She is a proud Lifetime Member of the Actors Studio, further solidifying her commitment to her craft.
