Bonnie's early life was shaped by her mother, who hailed from a large Irish Catholic family in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Her mother, one of nine children, played a significant role in Bonnie's upbringing. From a young age, Bonnie was drawn to the performing arts, starring in every high school play at Poly Prep Country Day School in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.
As a student at Boston College, Bonnie pursued a degree in Musical Theater, but eventually left to return to New York and pursue a career in acting. In the NYC music scene, Bonnie sang with various bands and even had a development deal to release her own music at the tender age of 17.
Before focusing on acting, Bonnie dabbled in modeling, catching the attention of a scout while waiting tables in NYC. She went on to model in New York and Europe, but eventually returned to her first love: acting. At the age of 22, Bonnie made the bold decision to pack her bags and relocate to Los Angeles.
Upon arriving in LA, Bonnie quickly formed a band and secured an agent. One of her earliest auditions, courtesy of her new agent, was for the lead role in CBS's mini-series, Shake, Rattle and Roll: An American Love Story (1999),in which she also showcased her impressive vocal abilities. Today, Bonnie resides in Los Angeles, where she continues to pursue her passion for acting and music.
